Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Make Agonizing YouTube Apology To Australia

They may be actors, but this is probably their worst work yet. Amber Heard and Johnny Depp definitely didn’t sell their apology to Australia on Monday when the pair was forced to apologize for smuggling Heard’s two dogs into the country last year.

The four-legged bandits were reportedly brought into the country on a private jet last year, while Depp filmed the fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. Heard then went on to provide a fake immigration document for the Yorkshire Terriers, Pistol and Boo. She was  charged with producing a false or misleading government document, and pleaded guilty in court on Monday. The two charges of illegally importing an animal were dismissed.

Although Depp was not charged, he joined Heard in apologizing to the country of Australia in a video posted to the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources YouTube page. Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce also posted the video to his Facebook page, just to confirm they were being held hostage and forced to glare at the camera.

The video is hard to watch to say the least, with an abundance of awkward and terrifying. In any case, if you want to watch Johnny Depp’s glare burn through your soul for 42 seconds, you can watch the full video below.

I’m not sure Australia forgives them.
