Desert Trip To Take Place Two Weekends In October With Legendary Rock And Roll Headliners

Desert Trip is headed to the well-known Empire Polo Ground in Indio, California for two consecutive weekends in October. This is the same site as other popular festivals, including Coachella. The festival will be featuring the most legendary Rock and Roll artists of all time with headliners The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who.

Weekend 1 on Oct. 7 will kick off the two-weekend festival, and Friday (Oct. 14) will be the start of Weekend 2, with each portion running for three days. Passes for both weekends of Desert Trip can be purchased now.

With the option of three-day passes to attend Desert Trip, as well as single-day tickets available, the secondary market is in high demand and steadily rising. According to the data provided by Razorgator, three-day passes are currently averaging $3,272, with the lowest get-in rate clocking in at $750. For Weekend 1, single-day passes are averaging $1,926, and for Weekend 2, single-day passes are averaging $963. The cheapest tickets available are currently standing at $532 for the final Sunday of the festival on Oct. 16.

The first ever Desert Trip festival is setting the bar high with the performers they have lined up. Across both weekends, the schedule remains the same, with The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan kicking things off on Friday night. Alongside these six iconic artists, the festival will also feature other attractions, such as 30 culinary professionals ready to prepare multicourse meals, craft beer experiences, winemakers and mixologists. These packages will be sold in addition to the entry passes to the festival.

For festival goers, camping and hotel packages will also be available for purchase through the festival’s website, and shuttles will be in service all weekend for safe and easy travel to and from the grounds.
